Because of their Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, most self-balancing hoverboard models use this special Mini 3-prong charger port. This charger port connects your battery directly to your charger. The special mini size is designed so the user cannot plug in a standard battery 3-prong or XLR charger made for sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries. SLA chargers may damage Li-ion batteries. Note: Because the white connector is larger than the threaded nut inside diameter, cutting and splicing of wires will be needed during install of this replacement wiring harness.
